On-Going

BUSHWICK PROJECT

New York, USA

The Bushwick Project merges residential living with community spaces, including a modern church and charter school. Located in a culturally vibrant neighborhood, the design emphasizes fluidity and connectivity.

Luxurious duplex units and dynamic public spaces foster a sense of unity and engagement, creating a seamless blend of modern living and community development.

The Bushwick Project is located in a neighborhood known for its vibrant arts scene, diverse community, and a mix of historic and modern buildings. The site benefits from good accessibility, making it convenient for residents and visitors to travel around the city.

The project aims to create a contemporary mixed-use building that combines residential functions, with church and community spaces. The project replaces the existing church with a modern structure housing a vibrant church space , a dynamic plaza and a versatile hub for residential living and a charter school up to the rooftop. The development will be served by spacious underground parking. The development is characterized by luxurious duplex units on higher levels, offering panoramic views of the city, and comfortable residential units along with state-of-the-art educational spaces.

The design prioritizes seamless integration, sustainability, and accessibility. The design must seamlessly blend diverse functionalities while fostering a sense of unity, enrichment, and contemporary urban living.

The project's architectural concept revolves around fluid lines seamlessly transitioning from horizontal to vertical, creating a captivating and continuous sense of movement throughout the space. This design approach evokes a harmonious flow that blurs boundaries, enhancing both visual aesthetics and functional connectivity. The continuous fluid lines guide the eye and create a rhythmic movement throughout the space, promoting exploration and engagement.

The dynamic flow not only enhances the visual ambiance but also nurtures a sense of togetherness and coherence, imparting a larger and more interconnected feeling to the space.
